The options in this tab determine if DEVONagent Express is automatically started when you log into your account, if the menu should show icon previews, how results are opened when they are selected, and what hotkey you want to use to call the menu.
General

Start at login: DEVONagent Express is started automatically when you log in.

Show icon preview: Check this option to show preview icons of the found pages in the menu.

Show text summary in menu: Check this option to show a short summary directly in the menu. Uncheck this option to keep the menu less crowded; you can always read the full summary in the tooltip.
Search

Agent: Download each result page and filter e.g. error pages.

Express: Return the results unfiltered.
In both cases DEVONagent Express uses its unique artificial intelligence technology to rank the results, in Express mode only based on title, address, and a short summary, in Agent mode based on the full text of the page.
Open Results

In DEVONagent: Results you select in the menu extra's menu are opened using DEVONagent Pro (if installed on your Mac).

In default web browser: Results you select in the menu extra's menu are opened using your default web browser, e.g. Safari.
Hotkey
Click the button to record any key combination you like to call the menu extra. Use the hotkey to open the menu extra also in OS X 10.7 Lion's fullscreen mode.
